My Simple Refund Policy
I want to be 100% transparent about how my payments and refunds work. I am a small, personal business, and I'm not a big shop that can easily take "returns."
When you hire me, you are paying for my professional time, my design skills, and my 20+ years of experience - not a physical, returnable product.
This simple policy is to make sure we are both on the same page before we start.
My 50% Non-Refundable Deposit
To book your project into my schedule, I require a 50% non-refundable deposit.
This deposit is my professional commitment to you. It secures your spot in my calendar, and I turn away other potential projects for that time. Because I have held that time exclusively for you, this 50% deposit is non-refundable.

My 'Peace of Mind' Monthly Plan
For the 'Website in a Week' package, your 50% deposit books my entire working week. I cannot take on any other client work during that time. For this reason, the deposit is strictly non-refundable.
In the Unlikely Event I Have to Cancel
Do You Have Any Questions?
If you choose to cancel your project before it is finished, you will not be required to pay the final 50% balance. However, your 50% deposit will not be refunded. This is to cover the time I have already spent on your project (including our chats, planning, and design work).
Once you have approved the final website and the final 50% payment has been made, the project is considered complete.
At this point, the final, custom digital work has been delivered to you. No refunds will be available after the final payment is made.
This is a simple monthly subscription. You can cancel at any time—no lock-in contracts. Just send me an email, and you will not be billed for the next month. No refunds are provided for the month in which you cancel.
In the very unlikely event that I am unable to complete your project due to illness, emergency, or any other unforeseen circumstance, I will, of course, provide a full refund of your 50% deposit.
